Mommy! We're GOING HOME!!!

It's official! We have Sam's visa in hand as of 4:30 this afternoon! We also have airline tickets that tell us we'll end up home in LR at 8:20 Saturday morning, AA flight 3735 from Dallas. We'll have to take their word for it, because we'll likely be in some kind of psychotic stupor by that time, and we might be in Peoria without realizing it! Strangely, we arrive in LA before we leave HongKong by reading the clock. I suspect, however, it won't feel like it!

Happy happy day! We're ready to get Sam--and ourselves HOME!

CONGRATULATIONS! It is so great to see your travels almost complete. The pictures of Sam are amazing. He's clearly a happy child. I can imagine what the crying spell are like, as my daughter (adopted after a difficult home/then foster home situation) had similar crying spells. The crying was so primal and heart breaking to say the least. All we can do is hold them while they go through it and give them all the love we can. Can't wait to see pictures of Sam AT HOME as part of your family and your daily life!

Congratulation on getting to bring home Sam. He is soooo cute. He’s a very lucky kid.

I’m a student of Mr. Freeman’s history class. He talks about yall at the beginning of every class! We all got a laugh out of Sam’s 1st bath. I don’t think he could be any happier if he tried. He comes in every morning smiling.
